~ Album Concept ~

 "One of my favorite periods in music history was the 1970’s and early 80’s, when music was truly “music”, (i.e., conceived, recorded and performed by talented, real-life musicians who were physically creating the groove).  You know, the kind of music that got your toe tapping, fingers snapping, and head swaying?  Well on this, my debut recording for Sun & Fish Records, I really wanted to take people back to that point in time, when music truly had a serious groove and lyrics spelled out a positive message with meaning.  So for those of you who are as old (or older) than I am, I hope these songs bring back fond memories of music from a more youthful time.  And for my more “youthful” listeners, I hope this CD turns your attention back to a period in music history that serves as the foundation for all of today’s major artists.  Stay positive…" -- Carlos J. アルバムコンセプト

私の最も好きな音楽の年代は何と言っても音楽が真の“ミュージック”だった時代（感情が伝わり、演奏も録音も才能を極めた真のミュージシャンが全身全霊でクリエイトしていた）70年代と80年代だ。聞いているだけで自然と足がリズムを刻み、音楽に合わせて指を鳴らしたり頭を左右前後に動かしてしまうあのサウンドだ。今回のアルバムを通してあの時代のサウンドのように音楽性が豊かで、歌詞が楽観的でメッセージ性のある音楽を多くの人に感じとって欲しいと思っています。私よりも年代が上の方々には懐かしいサウンドとして楽しい思い出が甦る事を願い、私よりも年代が下の“若い”方々には現在の音楽シーンの基盤とも言えるこの時代のサウンドに目を向けて欲しいと思います。Stay positive （常にプラスであり続けよう）…  -- Carlos J.
